The greater Scottsdale and Phoenix market has a number of well-established staging firms, including companies like Lavish Interiors, Sutton Staging, Attractive Interiors, Staged to Sell, Create the Stage and Spice Up Your Home, among others. Many have been serving the market for years, have extensive portfolios and have helped prepare many homes for sale.


That's good news for homeowners and agents. It means there are talented professionals to choose from. At the same time, I think the conversation often starts in the wrong place.

People spend a lot of time trying to identify the best staging company when the more important question is usually: Which company is the best fit for this particular home?


Because not every luxury listing presents the same challenge. A newly completed spec home in North Scottsdale is very different from a lived-in Paradise Valley estate filled with antiques and original artwork. A vacant Desert Ridge home that simply feels cold requires a different approach than an Arcadia home where the seller has beautiful furniture but needs help editing it for today's buyers.
