The Process

1. Initial Consultation

Every project starts with a conversation. That might be a quick call, email exchange or an introduction through an agent or partner. The goal at this stage is to understand:

• what your property is and what level of staging is needed

• your timing and seller goals for the listing

• our process and general approach 

From there, if it makes sense to move forward, we determine the right next step which is typically a walkthrough.
 

2. Walkthrough and Alignment

Nothing is better than seeing a home in person to truly get a gauge for how it feels and how it lives. We'll walk the property together to align on what's needed and we'll assess:

• how the home flows

• which spaces matter most

• where the key “wow” moments are

• what should stand out in listing photography

• who the likely buyer might be

This is where the staging strategy starts to take shape. We'll get on the same page about how to position the home and you can leave it to us to execute.

3. Scope and Proposal

From there, we define the right approach. That might mean fully staging the home, focusing on key spaces or blending existing furniture with curated Staging Scottsdale pieces. You’ll receive a clear proposal outlining the recommended scope, pricing and timing, along with a lookbook that reflects the style and types of pieces that will be used for the project. Once everything is aligned, we move forward with a simple agreement to confirm scope and timing, followed by an invoice to initiate scheduling. The goal at this stage is to make sure everything is clear, intentional and fully aligned before moving into installation.

4. Installation

Once everything is approved, most projects are scheduled within 2 to 3 weeks. Installation is typically:

• 2 days for standard homes

• 3 to 4 days for larger homes and estates

While the timeline is straightforward, the execution is highly intentional. Each install is approached with a focus on layout, scale, flow and final styling so the home feels complete, cohesive and easy to understand from the moment someone walks in. Depending on the scope, we bring in trusted partners to support the process, including additional stagers, designers and white-glove moving teams. This allows us to scale thoughtfully while maintaining consistency in how the home is presented. From the client side, the goal is simple: the process should feel organized, efficient and handled.

5. Photography & Launch Support

Because photos are often the first showing, staging is always considered through the lens of how the home will be captured. That means thinking beyond the room itself and focusing on:

• sightlines

• focal points

• depth and balance

• how each space connects visually

When appropriate, we coordinate with photography partners to ensure the most important spaces are captured clearly and consistently, and that the overall presentation aligns with how the home is meant to be positioned in the market. This is often where small details make a meaningful difference in how the listing performs.

6. De-Install

Staging typically remains in place for a 60-day minimum. When the listing sells or the staging term ends, de-install is usually completed in:

• 1 day for most homes

• 2 days for larger properties

The process is designed to be clean, efficient and low disruption. Pieces are removed carefully, the home is reset as needed and the space is left in a condition that feels organized and ready for its next phase, whether that’s closing, move-in or continued showing. As with installation, we work with trusted partners when appropriate to ensure everything is handled smoothly and professionally.

In most cases, it functions as a complete, done-for-you solution for a typical three-bedroom, two-bathroom home, allowing the main living areas to feel cohesive, intentional and ready to bring to market without needing to piece together multiple services.

This structure is designed to cover the core interior living spaces that buyers focus on most, so the home feels clear, current and cohesive. Each space is fully styled with furniture, artwork, faux plants, mirrors and accessories as appropriate, so the home feels complete, lived-in and easy for buyers to connect with, without feeling overdone. Additional rooms, outdoor areas or secondary spaces can be layered in as needed, but for many listings, this package provides a strong, balanced foundation without over-staging the entire property.​​​​

Not every home needs to be emptied. Many homes in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Arcadia already have strong pieces in place. In those cases, the best approach may be a hybrid one. We can help determine:
